Structural Failure Repair

When a grain elevator has experienced structural fatigue, the cause is often insuffieient rebar, incorrect lap spaces of the rebar, low-strength concrete used in the original installation or combination of all three.
To correct structural failure, Batterton crews remove the delaminated concrete from unsound areas, insert rebar as needed and form area using plywood. Gunite is then applied to formed areas to complete the contructions of the new wall. Exterior surface area is then flash coated with gunite, leaving a rubber float finish to restore back to original state.
